Nathan Brennan

I am a proud Gumbaynggirr, Bundjalung and Gamilaraay man who was born in Newcastle. My professional skills include policy development, governance, employment, training and development, human resources, land-based asset management, Aboriginal land and sea ranger programs, and social housing management.

My career includes roles with TAFE NSW, Newcastle City Council and three years as the CEO of the Coffs Harbour and District Local Aboriginal Land Council. My professional qualifications are in Business and Management, Arts and Languages.

My passions include Aboriginal language revitalisation and teaching, Aboriginal led land and sea country management and threatened species management.

I am proud to be part of the Ngiyambandigay Wajaarr Aboriginal Corporation. NWAC was developed to create opportunity for a holistic approach for Gumbaynggirr people to reacquire our land for the continuation of cultural practice, conservation, healing and social and economic development. I am excited to be sharing this journey with all our members and community.
